On March 10, 2020, the Moroccan Association of Presidents of the Councils of Prefectures and Provinces, the Moroccan Association of the Regions and the Moroccan Association of Presidents of Communal Councils, participated in the interactive workshop that the Economic, Social and Environmental Council organized about the weekly souks, as a lever of rural development, with a view to analyzing the attributions of the three levels of Territorial Collectivities and to proceed to a collective reflection in order to preserve these souks and to modernize them, taking into account their role in the economic development at the rural level, while safeguarding their social and cultural roles.
